Tea Party
Board members will provide the tea and food.
Bring favorite tea cup. Wear your tea party attire: Hat, gloves and pearls.

Bus trip to Maas Nursery in Seabrook.
Leaving from the Humble Target at 9:00 a.m.
Lunch at Tookie's Seafood in Seabrook
Returning home by 2:00 - 3:30 p.m.
Thursday, October 6th
Bus trip to Kim's Plants and Garden Center in Huntsville. There will be a speaker talking about Fall plants. Lunch will be at the Farmhouse Cafe and Bakery in downtown Huntsville and shopping on the square following.
We will collect $1.00 for the bus driver.
All other expenses are on your own.
Bus will depart at 8:30 a.m. SHARP from the HUMBLE TARGET on Townsend Blvd. Should arrive back at Target by 5 p.m.

Tuesday, November 8th - May Center
Program by a speaker, Tonya Richardson, from Friendswood: Junk and Plants. Tonya Richardson will be joining us with a presentation about her passion: incorporating special items she finds in junk stores or in her home, within her gardens. Tonya uses her talent and creativity to utilize ordinary items in her garden space. She will show us how to open our minds to a more interesting garden.
We will start our meeting at the May Center in Huffman at 9:30 a.m.
IF you have not signed up for our Christmas lunch trip to Brookwood on DECEMBER 9, you will have a chance to do that.This will be a bus trip.
Saturday, November 19th
Freindswood Home Tour. Bus trip going to the Friendswood Christmas Home Tour on Saturday, November 19. The cost will be $20 for the tour (pay on the day of the event). Lunch will be at the WHISKEY CAKE before the tour (pay for lunch on your own).
Tickets are $20.00/person for home tour plus lunch cost

Christmas Party at Brookwood Comunity Center
Bring a wrapped ornament costing $15-$20 for our ornament exchange. Bring a gift card for donation to Family Time.

Tuesday, March 14th - May Center We had a speaker from Kingwood Garden Center, Rian, talking about building a succulent terrarium and arranging a planter. He also taught us about the different soils that are appropriate for planting various plants. The meeting was at the May Center in Huffman at 9:30 a.m. Monday, March 27th Bus trip to Bryan-College Station, TX. A&M Garden tour at 10:30 a.m. and lunch at C&J's Store in Bryon. Following lunch we will go to Martha's Bloomers and on the way home we'll stop at Dilorio's Farm. Bus will leave from Target in HUMBLE at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 11th - TRIP - Meet at May Center at 9:30 a.m. We will have a short meeting and then car pool to the the EastSide Orchard in Crosby. It is about a 20 minute trip. Wear gardening shoes or boots. Also wear clothes that you don't mind getting messed up. Bring a folding chair and a bottle of water. No refreshments will be served at this meeting. We will car pool to The Monument Inn after our tour. For those who wish to participate in the luncheon, we will carpool together. For those not wishing to join the lunch group, you will carpool together or drive by yourself. APRIL 29-30 Spring Garden Tour - Friendswood The Spring Garden Tour and Spring Market will be held APRIL 29-30, 2023 at 112 W. Spreading Oaks in Friendswood. Tickets to tour 5 private home gardens will be sold at that address. Spring Market will be Saturday and Sunday April 29-30 from 9 to 5 pm with 60-plus vendors. We will carpool. Meeting place TBD Tuesday, May 9th Installation Family style luncheon at Lupe Tortilla in Atascocita at 11:00 a.m. in their private room.
