Most of our programs are held at the May Community Center, in room 118, in Huffman at 10:00 a.m. on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from September through May. (unless otherwise noted) 2025 - 2026 Programs and Event Lineup Tuesday, September 9th at 10:00 a.m. at the May Community Center in Huffman. Room 118 Tea Party Board members will provide the refreshments. Bring favorite teacup. Wear your tea party attire: Hat, gloves and pearls. Outstanding Dues will be collected. $25.00 (cash, check or Zelle to [email protected] 281-381-2140 Tuesday, October 14th at 10:00 a.m. at the May Center in room 118 Crafting session with Diane. She will be teaching us to make beautiful tote bags. Bring an apron or a smock. Thursday, October 28th Bus trip to Kim's Home Garden in Huntsville. Registration required. To register text to 832-633-2991 The bus will leave Super Target (20777 US 59, Humble, TX, across from Costco) at 9:00 a.m. Explore two fabulous venues: a beautiful mansion filled with fine gifts and the Stone Barn for outdoor living essentials. For lunch, we'll be stopping at **Cafe Texan**, the oldest café in Texas! Enjoy a cozy coffee shop atmosphere serving classic breakfast fare, along with delicious burgers, steaks, and salads. Bring $2.00 for bus driver's lunch. Tuesday, November 11th at The May Center at 10:00 a.m. Carolyn will give a class on canning. Tuesday, December 9th - Luncheon Join us for a festive celebration at the Olive Garden on December 9, 2025, at 11:30 AM! Location: 14231 East Sam Houston Pkwy N, Houston, TX 77044 We're excited to gather and share in the joy of the season! Please RSVP to Diane at 317-413-5243—the restaurant needs a head count. And don't forget to bring an ornament for our fun gift exchange! If you'd like to contribute a gift card to Family Time, please note the amount on it. You can select from Walmart, Target, HEB, etc. Tuesday, January 13th - Meeting at May Center at 10:00 a.m. We will have a speaker from the herb society, and she will talk about teas, and we will be brewing teas for everyone to try. Tuesday, February 10th Meeting at May Center at 10:00 a.m. Speaker, Mari will talk about cacti and succulents. Tuesday, March 10th - meet at10:00 a.m. at The May Center for a tour of Joelle’s house Tuesday, April 14th - May Center Member Plant exchange. Bring plants and cuttings to share. We will also vote for officers for the next season. At the May Center at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 12th - Installation Luncheon, place to be announced. Be prepared to pay $25 dues. |
